(Chicago, IL) -- The state is stepping up to help victims of human trafficking and prostitution. A new law creates a fund that will help pay for things like emergency housing and specialized treatment services. Illinois already has several measures in place to help those who've come out of the sex trade, for example they can have some of their prostitution convictions cleared from their records.
