John Deere Plans Layoffs At Four Plants

(Moline, IL) -- John Deere is planning layoffs at four plants. The world's largest maker of farm equipment said Friday that more than 600 workers will be affected in Illinois, Iowa and Kansas. The news comes after Deere & Co lowered its earnings outlook for 2014 due to falling sales.
