Aledo Woman Threatens Judge

(Aledo, IL) -- Felony charges have been filed against an Aledo woman, who is accused of threatening to blow up the home of a judge. The charges were filed last week. Thirty-three-year-old Angela Willits is facing a Class-three felony of threatening a public official. An August 26th preliminary hearing has been scheduled in Mercer County Circuit Court. Willits was found in contempt of court last month and sentenced to 90 days in jail after being disruptive at a sentencing hearing involving another person. A court order indicates she was warned several times to control herself and stop using profanities.
