(McLean County, IL) -- It seems a puppy virus has been hitting dogs in central Illinois this summer. Officials in McLean County say they've seen several cases of the Parvovirus, which is a highly contagious, potentially deadly disease that's spread among dogs. Those that are infected experience vomiting, dehydration, and have bloody diarrhea. Pet owners can keep the disease at bay by making sure their dog is vaccinated.
