Four Springfield Businesses Caught Selling Alcohol To Teens

(Springfield, IL) -- Four Springfield businesses are accused of selling alcohol to minors. The establishments are the Ayerco Convenience store on South MacArthur, Donnie's Homespun on West Cook, the Tin Can Pub on East Monroe and the Trailblazer Pub on North Dirksen. The State Liquor Control Commission stopped by 350 businesses across the state during a crackdown last month. A total of 47 received citations. They can be fined up to one-thousand-dollars and/or serve as much as a year in jail.
