Body Discovered in East Peoria

(East Peoria, IL) -- Police in East Peoria are looking into the discovery of a body in the area behind Fondulac Plaza. The body was found at that site on Wednesday afternoon. Police in East Peoria say that someone located the body behind the shopping center in a wooded area at about 12:15. The body was decomposed beyond recognition according to police. Authorities believe that the body may have been at the location for a while. Police say that there appears to be no indication of any foul play at this point in their investigation.
