Meteor Shower, Supermoon On Sunday Night
(Undated) -- Stargazers in Fulton County, west central Illinois as well as the rest of the state are in for a special treat again tonight as a huge meteor shower will continue to light up the sky. Nearly 100 shooting stars an hour will be passing through the night sky when the annual Perseid meteor shower takes place. Astronomy buffs will have to pull an all-nighter to catch the meteor shower, which peaks around 4 a.m. central time. The Perseid meteor shower can be seen through August 13th.
