(Springfield, IL) -- Drivers who get pulled over for speeding or running a red light no longer have to turn over their license. A new law allows them to "sign and drive." That means they'll sign the citation at the traffic stop and agree to show up in court or pay a fine. Anyone who fails to show up or pay up could have their license suspended.
