(Springfield, IL) -- Thirteen of the state's Historic Preservation Agency's historic sites will have to reduce their hours after Labor Day. The agency said on Monday that a 19 percent cut in its spending plan is forcing the cut in hours. Most sites affected will also reduce the days they're open from five to four. Agency Director Amy Martin says that some lawmakers have indicated that an increase in funding is possible.
