Galesburg Teachers Call For Strike

(Galesburg, IL) -- Teachers in the Galesburg School District 205 have decided to strike. Members of the teachers union in the school district met Thursday night for 3 1/2 hours before deciding what their next move would be. Teachers are wanting additional money as well as better retirement benefits. However, district officials say that raises for teachers are not in the budget.
