Quinn Gets IFT Endorsement

(Springfield, IL) -- The Illinois Federation of Teachers is backing Governor Quinn in his bid for re-election. Board members say Quinn is committed to making sure students have the resources they need to succeed in school. The group says Bruce Rauner's ideas are out of touch with what's best for education in Illinois. They add that Rauner's budget plan would force layoffs, larger class sizes, and deeper cuts to public education.
