Kegley Taking Part In Queen Of Friendship Pageant

(Canton, IL) -- A week from Saturday a new Queen of Friendship will be crowned. Alexis Kegley is one of 12 contestants that is taking part in the pageant. Kegley says she was encouraged to take part in the pageant by the reigning Queen, Shayla Burkhead.

Kegley is from Cuba. She will be a senior at Cuba High School this fall. The Queen of Friendship Pageant will be held in the auditorium at Canton High School in Canton on Saturday, August 9th.
