Dickson Mounds Hosting “Buggy Nights”

(Lewistown, IL) -- Dickson Mounds Museum is hosting a new family program next month. "Buggy Nights" will explore what bugs are active at night. Bug enthusiast Jim Wiker will demonstrate how to attract an array of bugs and teach participants how to identify them. Participants should dress appropriately for this outdoor activity. The program is free and registration is not required. Scouts are encouraged to participate in this program as it may fulfill some badge requirements. "Buggy Nights" will be taking place on Saturday, August 9th and will start at 8 p.m.
