SRC Board Of Trustees Approve Contract With Faculty Association

(Canton, IL) -- The Spoon River College Board of Trustees approved a four year contract with the College's Faculty Association during the regular board meeting held earlier this month. The contract calls for a stepped salary increase for the next four years: 2.75 percent increase the first year, 3-percent the second year, 3.1 percent the third year and 3.25 percent the four year. SRCFA President Kay Norton commended SRC President Curtis Oldfield and Human Resources Director Michelle Bugos for the atmosphere of mutual respect and team work that negotiations were conducted in. The Board also approved the President's employment contract to 2017. The meeting was held last Wednesday on the Canton campus.
