Pekin Man Facing Drug Charges After Police Find Marijuana Plants (Pekin, IL) -- Authorities in Pekin say they made a major drug bust in a neighborhood, seizing well over 100 marijuana plants. Pekin police say that 141 plants were seized from the backyard at the Jerry Redmon residence. On July 1, authorities received an anonymous tip in regard to the plants. After getting the tip, police responded to the home on the same night at about 9. They responded to home that is located on Matilida Street and found the plants. They also found 626 grams of weed that had already been processed. Police in Pekin say that Redmon is facing multiple drug related charges. Judges Face Disciplinary Action (Bloomington, IL) -- Two McLean County judges are facing disciplinary action after having an alleged affair that created a conflict of interest. A complaint filed with the Illinois Judicial Inquiry Board reveals Judges Scott Drazewski and Rebecca Foley started seeing each other in December of 2010. Drazewski presided over several cases that involved Foley's husband, who's an attorney, during the course of the affair, but recused himself once the man found out. If the charges are accurate the two judges could be reprimanded, suspended, or even removed from the bench.
