(Undated) -- Political misconduct in Illinois is costing taxpayers in Fulton County and the rest of the state quite a bit. A study in the Public Administration Review publication shows that statewide corruption by elected officials is averaging a price tag of 13-hundred-eight-dollars per person. The report also found that most official misconduct is connected to huge public works projects, police and corrections, wages and borrowing.
