ISU Being Proactive On Sexual Assault Cases

(Normal, IL) -- Illinois State University is stepping up its efforts to make sure sexual assault complaints aren't swept under the rug. Gail Trimpe-Morrow is the Coordinator for Sex Assault Prevention. She says they made a few minor changes after a recent report revealed 40 percent of colleges and universities in the U.S. ignore the reports. They hired an investigator to review their cases. He'll be responsible for digging deeper on all reports of assaults in relationships and violent stalking.
