Astoria's Schaeffer Contestant In 2014 Fulton County Fair Queen Pageant

(Lewistown, IL) -- Abbey Schaeffer is one of 16 contestants taking part in the 2014 Fulton County Fair Queen Pageant later this month in Lewistown. The 16-year old Schaeffer says that she wanted to take part in the pageant this year because she was confident it would be a good learning experience for her. Schaeffer is the daughter of Craig and Cindy Schaeffer of Astoria. She will be a freshman at Lincoln Land Community College this fall and is being sponsored by the Astoria Lions Club. The pageant will be taking place in front of the grandstand on the grounds of the Fulton County Fair on the south edge of Lewistown. 2013 Fulton County Fair Queen Eve Shafer will crown the 2014 Fulton County Fair Queen on Monday night, July 21st.
