Portion On I-74 Named After Ray LaHood
(Peoria, IL) -- A portion of I-74 in downtown Peoria is being renamed to honor former U.S. Congressman and Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood. LaHood is from Peoria. He served as a Congressman for the 18th District from 1995 to 2009 and as Transportation Secretary from 2009 until 2013.
