Voters Will Be Allowed To Register On Election Day

(Oak Park, IL) -- Voters will be allowed to register on Election day this fall. Governor Quinn signed a law aimed at streamlining the registration and early voting process. He says everyone should be given a chance to make their voice heard in the voting booth, and removing the deadline will make that happen. Republicans have been highly critical of the new law. They say Democrats are looking for every way possible to get people out to the polls this November.
