McCormick Among Sixteen Vying For Fair Crown

(Lewistown, IL) -- Sixteen contestants are taking part in this year’s Fulton County Fair Queen's Pageant later this month. Among them will be 18-year old Blake McCormick of Astoria. McCormick says that she has always watched the pageant and that’s one of the reason she wanted to take part this year. McCormick is the daughter of Chris and Roberta McCormick. She is planning on attending Bradley University in Peoria in the fall. McCormick is sponsored by the Astoria American Legion Auxiliary Unit 25. The 2014 Fulton County Fair Queen will be crowned by Eve Shafer, the 2013 Fulton County Fair Queen on Monday, July 21st in front of the grandstand at the Fulton County Fairgrounds located on the south edge of Lewistown.
