What Caused Deaths In Pekin Industrial Accident Still Being Determined

(Pekin, IL) -- Authorities in Tazewell County are still trying to determine the cause of death of two men at a plant located in Pekin. 37-year old Frank Rosebur of Peoria and 29-year old Dean Stone of Pekin died after Stone fell into the train car and Rosebur attempted to rescue him. The two were cleaning the car at the Agridyne plant earlier this week. Authorities believed that carbon monoxide caused the death initially but now say that another kind of gas could have caused high readings of C-O. Both men were overcome by gas inside the tanker car and died. Results of an autopsy on each of the men have not come back yet.
