Quincy School Board Turns Down Random Drug Testing

(Quincy, IL) -- The Quincy Public School Board refuses to move forward on random drug testing for students in the next school year. That decision was made at Wednesday's school board meeting. Policy Committee Chair Sheldon Bailey says panel members were more in favor with some of the things the school was already doing. A few of those things are routine bag checks, periodic K9 searches and checking kids when they leave on overnight school trips.
