IL Gets a B in Help for Working Parents

(Undated) -- Illinois gets a B in a new report analyzing how each state supports – or doesn’t support – new parents in terms of such things as leave time and job protection. The study is from the National Partnership for Women and Families. Illinois is among the states that have enacted laws to protect the rights of nursing mothers in the workplace and requiring reasonable accommodations to pregnant workers. The report is released to coincide with Monday’s White House Summit on Working Families.
