Alzheimer's Association Observes "Longest Day"

(Undated) -- Saturday was the first day of summer, and the Alzheimer's Association is using the occasion to make people more aware of the disease. Angela Geiger at the Alzheimer's Association says teams of people will observe the day with things like running, walking and baking events. You can log on to alz.org for more information on how to find a team in your area or to donate to Alzheimer's research. Also, Geiger asks you to wear purple today. That's the official color of the Alzheimer's Association.
