Real Estate Taxes In Fulton County Due In Less Than A Month

(Lewistown, IL) -- Residents of Fulton County have just less than a month to pay the first installment of their Real Estate Tax Bills. The first installment of the taxes are due on Friday, July 18th. Payments may be made at the Fulton County Treasurer's office. They can also be made in the drop box at the Courthouse entrance no later than at 2 p.m. on the due date, by mail postmarked on or before the due date and at most county banks on or before the due dates. Payments can also be made with most major credit cards via internet E-Pay program at the www.illinoispay.com Website or at E-Pay IVR by calling 1-877-690-3729. E-Pay payments will not be accepted after the second installment due date, which is Tuesday, September 2nd. You must include late penalties of 1 1/2-percent per month or portion thereof on all late payments. Contact the Treasurer's office for assistance in calculating late penalties and costs. The Fulton County Treasurer's office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Fulton County Courthouse.
