New Principal At Manual Academy

(Peoria, IL) -- Manual Academy in Peoria has named a new principal. Heather Young will replace Taunya Jenkins, who is transferring to become the school district's Family and Community Coordinator. Young started as a school nurse at Manual High School in 1999 before getting her teaching certificate and teaching at Manual in 2005. She was promoted to Assistant Principal at Sterling Middle School in 2011 and named Hines Primary School Principal in 2012.
