New Lottery Game Helps Special Olympians
(Normal, IL) -- With the signature of Governor Quinn on Friday, a new special scratch-off lottery game will be launched to benefit the Special Olympics. Quinn is signed the bill at the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics Summer Games in Normal to kick off the two-dollar "Go for the Gold" game. Tickets will be available early next year and the game is expected to raise nearly 700-thousand-dollars for Special Olympics athletes' training, programs and events.
