Miss Illinois Crowned

(Marion, IL) -- An aspiring opera singer from Chicago is the new Miss Illinois. Marisa Buchheit was crowned over the weekend. She sings in seven different languages and even though she'll be promoting education issues across the state for the next year, she says she ultimately wants to end up on stage. Buchheit will be heading to Vegas to represent Illinois in the Miss America pageant this fall.
