Quinn Blasts Rauner Plan, GOP Praises It
(Chicago, IL) -- Governor Pat Quinn is brushing off Bruce Rauner's ten-point-plan to Bring Illinois Back. Rauner's plan would save about one-billion-dollars, but Governor Pat Quinn says that's not even enough to cover the one-point-eight-billion-dollar hole that the state will have come January, when the income tax rate rolls back. But Republicans are praising Rauner's efforts. Senate Republican Leader Christine Radogno says it's the first step toward transforming state government.
