Black Bear Spotted Near Rockford

(Rockford, IL) -- A black bear is roaming around the Rockford area. It made a brief stop at a couple's home off Geddes Road on Saturday. The homeowner says the bear was not aggressive, but did seem to be hungry. It stood on its hind legs to eat the berries off her tree. It also drank water from the bird feeder and the plant pot.
