FBI Encourages Parents To Use Child ID App

(Springfield, IL) -- The FBI has a useful tool to help speed up the process of finding kids if they come up missing. Spokesman Brad Ware says they have a Smartphone App that lets parents keep their Child's ID Kit at the palm of their fingertips. The free app is available for both iPhone and Android devices. Parents will have to enter their child's name, height, weight, eye color, and any other special characteristics then upload a recent picture. Officials say the FBI does not store or collect any information that is keyed into the app.
