State To Pump One-Billion Dollars Into Roads And Bridges

(Springfield, IL) -- The state is pumping one-billion-dollars into roads and bridges. Lawmakers sent Governor Pat Quinn a capital construction plan in the wee hours of the morning Saturday, just after midnight. Democrats in the House say they know which areas will be getting the money but they wouldn't give that information to Republicans before the vote. They say IDOT will post it on their website sometime this week.
