Memorial Day Ceremonies Held Throughout Fulton County

(Canton, IL) -- The men and women of the military who gave the ultimate sacrifice were remembered in ceremonies through west central Illinois on Monday. Among those ceremonies taking place was at Jones Park in Canton. Lloyd Henderson, a retired U.S. Air Force Senior Master Sergeant and past National Committeman for the American Legion was the speaker. He says that those honored on Memorial Day are those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Other ceremonies took place in Cuba, Fairview, Farmington and in Lewistown yesterday.
