Lincoln Museum Free For Active Military
(Springfield, IL) -- The Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum in Springfield is rolling out the red carpet, or at least the 'free admission' sign, for active duty military this summer. It's part of a national effort that also applies to some two-thousand museums around the country. From now through September 1st, active members of the armed forces and as many as five family members will be admitted to the Lincoln library and museum without charge, if they present their military ID.
