Students From St. Germaine Catholic School Visit Fulton County Farms

(Canton, IL) -- Students and parents from St. Germaine Catholic School in Oak Lawn, Illinois made the trip south to Fulton County on Friday to visit several farms. Among them was Rebecca Sulenski of Chicago. She said that this is an amazing trip for the students to see what actually happens on a farm. The students from St. Germaine Catholic School are in the fourth grade. In all 32 fourth graders made the trip along with teachers and several parents. This year the trip included stops at Sister Creek Farmers, east of Lewistown and then Maples Mill United Methodist Church for lunch. There was also stops made at the Carlberg Diary Farm east of Canton to rhw Vohland Farms before a final stop at the Fairview Ball Park in Fairview before hearing back to Oak Lawn.
