Peoria Woman Arrested On Valid Warrant (Canton, IL) -- A Peoria woman wanted on a valid warrant was arrested last week in Canton. Police say 34-year old Justina R.L. Crump was involved in an argument with another female near the intersection of Avenue A and West Elm Street Thursday morning at just after 1:45 when police found that she was wanted on a warrant. Crump was found to be wanted on a 2010 Fulton County Warrant, failure to appear pay order DUI. She was arrested and taken to the Canton Police Department where she was processed. Crump was unable to post bond and was later taken to the Fulton County Jail in Lewistown. Canton Woman Wanted On Warrant Turns Self In (Canton, IL) -- A Canton woman wanted on a warrant turned herself in to Canton police last week. Police say that 51-year old Elizabeth E. Klineschmidt entered the Canton Police Department Thursday morning at just after 10:15 to turn herself in on a 2010 Fulton County Warrant, failure to appear pay order, DUI. Klineschmidt posted a $300 cash bond and a $20 processing fee and was then released. She has a June Fulton County Court date in Lewistown. Police Looking For Suspect In Weekend Homicide (Peoria, IL) -- Authorities in Peoria are searching for a man they say allegedly killed a man over the weekend. Peoria police are looking for 37-year old Sean T. Walls who they say shot and killed 22-year old Derrick Booth, Jr. on Saturday morning. Police say the shooting happened in the 800 block of South Greenlawn. Booth, Jr. had been shot in the chest. He was pronounced dead at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria, where he had been taken for treatment following the shooting. Chillicothe Mobile Home Fire Being Investigated (Chillicothe, IL) -- Several fire departments from the Chillicothe area responded to a mobile home park in Chillicothe on the report of a fire. Crews responded to Pinewood Estates at about 8:30 last night. In addition to the Chillicothe Fire Department, also responding were Dunlap, Princeville-Akron and Sparland-Lacon. Fire crews had to bring in water from other communities in an effort to fight the blaze. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. The mobile home was destroyed in the fire. What caused the fire remains under investigation. Body Recovered From Illinois River Over The Weekend (Peoria, IL) -- Authorities in Peoria recovered the body of the man who jumped off of the Bob Michel Bridge last week. 30-year old Jonathan Maurice Becnel of Peoria allegedly jumped from the bridge into the Illinois River last Monday. His body was recovered from the river Saturday morning. The Peoria County Coroner's office conducted an autopsy. Becnel died as a result of drowning. A toxicology report was done but the coroner's office is awaiting results. Suspects In Gruesome Murder To Be Tried Separately (Joliet, IL) -- Three of the four suspects tied to a gruesome murder in Joliet will be tried separately. Joshua Miner, Adam Landerman, and Bethany McKee are accused of strangling two young men on Hickory Street last January. They've apparently made statements against each other that could sway a jury. A fourth suspect, Alisa Massaro, pleaded guilty to reduced charges last week and will spend ten-years-behind bars.
