SRV School Board Meets For May Board Meeting

(London Mills, IL) -- The Spoon River Valley Community Unit School District # 4 recently held their regularly scheduled Board meeting for the month of May. During the meeting, Superintendent Scot Reynolds discussed with Board members the ESDA Emergency Planning Bags. Reynolds asked the board to look at adding emergency backpacks to each class room for teachers to have in case of emergency. Also discussed about the emergency backpacks was interest in financial assistance from the public. The school board also approved the recommendations for high school vocational and collegiate English curriculum by a 6-0 vote. The board meeting took place on Monday, May 12th in the Board of Education Room at Spoon River Valley High School.
