Canton Woman Charged With Domestic Battery (Canton, IL) -- A Canton woman is facing charges after police were dispatched to a domestic situation for a second time in Canton over the weekend. Canton police say they were dispatched to an address in the 400 block of North Avenue A Sunday night at just after 11:45. The police report indicated that a female was intoxicated and then locked herself in the bathroom after striking a family member in the race. Police say the victim, a 52-year old Canton female had redness and swelling in the face. The suspect was identified as 28-year old Minnie M. Lacock. Police were able to get Lacock out of the bathroom. She was then arrested on a charge of domestic battery. Lacock was taken to the Canton Police Department where she was processed. Lacock was then taken to the Fulton County Jail in Lewistown. Police had been to the address about an hour earlier before the second call. Canton Woman Facing Charges After Police Make Second Trip To Residence In Regard To Loud Music (Canton, IL) -- Two people are facing charges after police were dispatched to a residence on East Walnut Street in Canton. Police say they were dispatched to a residence Saturday morning at about 2:20 in the 900 block of East Walnut on a loud music complaint. Upon arrival, officers say they saw several individuals run from the garage. They did give the owner of the home a warning to turn down the music. Police then were dispatched to the home a second time at about 3:30. One of the females leaving the garage was told to stop but ignored the officers request and kept walking and eventually attempted to run into the house. The female was identified as 20-year old Aubrey Rogers. An investigation determined that drinking had been taking place in the garage and that included Rogers. The owner of the home, 22-year old Brittany K. Martin was arrested and charged with allowing underage people to consume alcohol. While being arrested, Martin allegedly resisted when the officer was putting on the handcuffs, pulling away. Rogers was also arrested after it was determined she had been drinking. Both Martin and Rogers were taken to the Canton Police Department where they were processed. Martin was also charged with resisting a peace officer. Rogers was charged with a city ordinance violation: unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor. Rogers was released with a notice to appear and will have 14-days to pay a fine or she will have a pending Fulton County Court Date. Martin posted a $150 cash bond and a $20 processing fee. She has a June Fulton County Court date in Lewistown. Traffic Stop Leads To Arrest (Canton, IL) -- A traffic stop in Canton earlier this week resulted in a Canton mans arrest. Police say they made the stop for the vehicle having a loud exhaust. Officers identified the driver as a 39-year old Canton man. A passenger inside the vehicle was identified as 21-year old Justin L.W. Farris. Farris was found to be wanted on a 2013 Fulton County Misdemeanor Warrant for failure to appear pay order possession of cannabis. During their investigation, police found that Farris was in possession of cannabis that was found inside of his coat. Farris was arrested and taken to the Canton Police Department where he was processed for the warrant and also an additional charge of possession of cannabis under 2.5 grams. Farris was unable to post bond and was later taken to the Fulton County Jail in Lewistown. Canton Woman Facing Charges Following Traffic Stop (Canton, IL) -- A traffic stop in Canton resulted in a Canton woman facing charges. Police say they stopped the vehicle at Spruce Street and Avenue A Sunday night at just after 7:30 after an officer spotted the vehicle had its turn signal on to turn east from 1st Avenue but instead turned west. The driver of the vehicle was identified as 45-year old Amy S. Eddy. It was determined that Eddy had been drinking. Several field sobriety tests were conducted which she allegedly failed. She was arrested and taken to the Canton Police Department where she refused a breath sample. Eddy was processed on charges of DUI, driving a motor vehicle without insurance and failure to signal when required.. She posted her driver's license, $100 cash bond and a $20 processing fee and was then released. Eddy has a July Fulton County Court date in Lewistown. Peoria Police Investigating Inside Theft At Business (Peoria, IL) -- An unusual theft at a business in Peoria is being investigated by police in Peoria. Police say that an employee stole from the business that assesses the quality of collectible items. Because of the nature of the business, it could cost the owners of the company hundreds of thousands of dollars. The company asked that the name of business not be released by authorities to keep it anonymous. Search For Missing Peoria Woman Continues (Peoria, IL) -- Peoria police say there have been some new developments in regard to a missing woman from Peoria. Authorities say that 57-year old Terri Anderson was last seen outside of her home located at 3851 Palmyra Court Sunday night. That’s when her ex-husband says he dropped her off at around 9:30 Sunday night and then drove away in her van. But now police have released photos of the van and want to know if anyone saw the van Sunday night. Authorities describe the van as a white 1995 Chevrolet Carryall that has a license plant number of K87-6858. Police say they did arrest Anderson's ex-husband, Daniel Wilson on Monday on several charges. Those charges range from forgery to burglary, and from theft to domestic battery.
