Free Boating Inspections Today

(Undated) -- Anyone planning to get their boats out on the water for Memorial Day should make sure everything is in working order first. The Illinois Conservation Police will be inspecting boats for free today. They'll be checking things like battery covers, navigation lights, plus answering any questions that boaters may have. There will be inspections in every area of the state including East Peoria, Chicago, Spring Grove, Rock Island, Clinton, Springfield, and Murphysboro. Check out the DNR website for more information.
