Jacksonville Votes Against No New Video Gaming Parlors
(Jacksonville, IL) -- Jacksonville's City Council will not allow any more video gaming parlors in the area. The two existing venues on Morton Avenue are Lucy's Place and Lucky's. Even though there were six proposals on the table on Tuesday to open new gaming parlors, Mayor Andy Ezard refused to let it happen. He says any new or existing tavern in the city that has a liquor license can apply to get gaming machines if the don't have them, but no more gaming parlors.
