(Undated) -- The cool weather and wet fields slowed planting progress a bit as we hear in the weekly crop report. State Crop Statistician Mark Schleusener says farmers didn't get as much time in the fields as they would have liked, but still did get some crops in the ground. 72-percent of oats and three percent of Soybeans have been planted. Average statewide topsoil moisture came in at 14 -percent surplus, 77 percent adequate and nine percent short.
