Hundreds Of Bikers Rally For Safety

(Springfield, IL) -- May is Motorcycle Awareness Month. Hundreds of bikers rode through Springfield on Sunday to raise awareness for riders' safety. The state coordinator of ABATE, Ryan Hubbard, says his group goes to the capitol, announces what they are doing in the legislature and awards lawmakers who work with them on motorcycle safety. ABATE and the Illinois Department of Transportation will join forces again this Wednesday for "Start Seeing Motorcycles." The event will begin at 11 a.m. at the Old State Capitol in Springfield.
