Longtime Illinois Congressman Lane Evans Has Died

(Undated) -- A longtime Congressman who represented Fulton County in the nation's capitol has died. Former Representative Lane Evans passed away Wednesday night at Hope Creek Nursing Home. Evans was first elected to the House of Representatives in 1982 before stepping down in 2006 after he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. Evans was 63.
