Halloween Is Over, Get Out That Toothbrush
(Undated) -- Halloween is over, but there's a lot of sticky candy hanging around. That candy, unfortunately is not only in the pantry, but in your kids' teeth. Kristina Guerrero with the Healthy Mouths Healthy Lives Campaign says that three out of four parents admit they realize that their kids forget to brush their teeth. Even though kids forget to brush, parents don't seem too worried. That's a problem, too. Guerrero says more than 51-million school hours are lost each year due to dental-related illness, resulting in parents losing 25-million work hours annually. Kids, she says, should brush their teeth twice a day for two minutes each time.
