(Undated) -- Farmers in Fulton County are getting some good news. The USDA is raising the crop production forecast for Illinois. The state's Crop Statistician, Mark Schleusener, says soybean yields will come in at a record high. That means Illinois will keep its ranking as the nation's number one soybean-producing state. Corn yields are reaching record highs. The state is expected to harvest 200-bushels-per-acre. Total corn yield will be more than two-point-three-billion-bushels.
