It's Enterovirus D-68 and Dr. Partha Nandi says it's important to use common sense and not become too alarmed because this is not a new type of virus. He says to keep your child home from school if they're sick at all to prevent any illness from spreading and be diligent about hand washing. If, however, you normally healthy child does get sick, go to the doctor if they have trouble breathing or if they're not feeling any better after a day or two.
