(Undated) -- State officials are accepting applications from people who want to use medical marijuana to help ease their pain from chronic illnesses. Bob Morgan says about 63-hundred-people have started the registration process, but only 800 applications have been completed. Morgan overseas the medical marijuana program in Illinois, which allows people with certain conditions to get up to two-and-a-half ounces of pot every two weeks. Right now, people whose last names begin with the letters A through L can submit applications. Everyone else will be allowed to apply November 1st.
