More Students Taking Advanced Placement Testing

(Springfield, IL)  --  State officials say more high school kids in Illinois are choosing to take advanced placement tests.  Mary Fergus, with the State Board of Education, says 23-percent of all juniors and seniors took the test this spring.  Advanced placement courses range from things like History, to Calculus and Foreign Language.  The classes offer a higher level of learning and can help students earn college credit.
