Neighboring States Allow Same Sex Marriage

(Springfield, IL) -- Gay marriage is now the law of the land in two of Illinois' neighboring states. Bernard Cherkasov, with Equality Illinois, says same-sex couples in Wisconsin and Indiana can now take the trip down the aisle, thanks to the U.S. Supreme Court. Justices refused to take up an appeal from five states that wanted to keep marriage between one man and one woman. The rejection means same-sex couples in 30-states can legally tie-the-knot.
